Kedarkantha trek with Himalayan Shelter Well...here I am ..writing a review after my first trek experience at Kedarkantha Summit with Himalayan Shelter in Nov 2023 . Well.. words cannot do justice to the majesty of the Great Himalayas..I am blessed to be able to witness the solitude and the nature's raw beauty.. And talking about Himalayan Shelter...what a great experience...they made us feel really safe, really comfortable, and to be honest they provided with so much of hospitality made us feel at home even at the remotest place.. along with that constant guidance , continuous motivation, proper planning , warm food and to be honest handholding you through the difficult moments at the Mountain made our trekking experience a memorable one... Our trek was for total 5 days ( Dehradun-Dehradun) Their transportation from Dehradun was absolutely punctual. The Himalayan Shelter guest house at Sankri was absolutely neat and clean and provided with the amenities needed like geyser. In one word... Himalayan Shelter is a beautifully crafted team of passionate and experienced professionals who will make anyone's trekking experience a lifetime memory .. A special mention to our trek leaders Tirpan Rana ji and Priyanka ma'am.. thank you for all the motivation and guidance and making it a beautiful experience with your wholesome involvements.. truly thankful and looking forward to our next journey together .. I wish Himalayan Shelter and our trek leaders all the very best for all their future achievements🙏🏼 And if anyone looking for a journey to The Himalayas ..just go for it...

Har ki Dun trek - (Oct 29- Nov 04 ) 2023 1. Very capable and committed team. 2. Excellent and surprisingly healthy food provided more than what we anticipated, both at guest house and camps. 3. Guides Saurabh and Hrithik constantly alerted us on the conditions and the timing of the daily pursuit of goals. Following them carefully ensured that we are not surprised by hostile weather, especially in the afternoons. 4. Guest house at Sankri was a little sub par compared the trek service which was very high class. Facilities at the guest house can be little more consistent like electricity, geyser and WiFi etc. But there is nothing on the staff who tried their best to allow for uninterrupted service. Overall experience was fantastic for a first time trekker like me. Regards, Ravi

Outstanding experience. The view was breathtaking. Enjoyed our trek to best . A special thanks to Suresh and thoiba . Past 4 days with Himalaya shelter has been the most amazing and breath taking as together we achieved our summit to kedarkantha. More to this the trek was made more fun and memorable by our extraordinary guides Mr. Suresh and thoiba . They were the constant support throughout this summit. They kept us motivated and pushed us to achieve the target. They took care of our every necessity during these 4 days . A heartfelt thanks to our guide . Thanks to Himalaya shelter for providing us such excellent guide, for amazing food , for providing us with essential required during the trek such has torch, stick etc. Overall it's was a great experience for us . Must recommended to everyone.

KGL with HS We went to the Kashmir Great Lakes trek in August 2023. The Himalayan Shelter group being fairly small, about 35 people big, had the best campsites in the entirety of the trek. Accompanied by highly experienced trek leaders, Jyoti and Santosh, it was clear that we were in good hands. From exciting terrains to safer ones, the trek leaders gave us the freedom to choose. The food was a class apart when compared to the other trek companies, cook Pawan Joshi did a terrific job with the food; unlimited meals, breakfast, dinner and snacks along with a packed lunch for the trek. We literally looked forward to the next meal every time we reached the campsite after a long trek. Himalayan Shelter has raised the standards so high that I might not be satisfied with any other trekking company anymore.

Trek to Kuari Pass, Thunganath and Chandrashila We had a great time during our recent trek to Kuari Pass and Thunganath-Chandrashila along with a trip to Badrinath and Mana village. Special Thanks to our experienced and amazing Trek guide Nithin, and the support staff making the tour truly memorable. Whether it is the equipments, food or the overall service, they have done everything and beyond to ensure the comfort for a small group as ours during the seven day trip. Right from the pickup from Dehradun railway station till the drop back, they have taken care good care of us. Initially planned for a 6-day Kuari Pass Load Curzon Trail, there were concerns due to inclement weather conditions. They were flexible to quick to find alternate plans, cutting short the Kuari Pass trek to four days and including Badrinath as well as a trek to Thunganath and Chandrasila. We really enjoyed the trek, thanks to the great team. It was an amazing experience for the entire team and we look forward to trek with Himalaya Shelter team again.

Unforgettable trip to the Himalayas We were a group of six Spanish friends that have shared and enjoyed a trip to this part of the Himalayas. Coordination and support of Bachan and his team has been excellent. Accommodations and transport have been perfect, even in more remote sites where options were more limited. Very grateful for the opportunity to have visited all these sacred places with Bachan and his team. Highly recommended for any foreigner who want to explore these Himalayan regions.
